Let's Build a Home

grrr.. I have been crabby the last few days. I have my reasons. Lack of sleep isn't helping either.

Tiesto Recap:
Well, it was different. I have never been to a show where it is just a DJ pushing buttons. This music really isn't my cup of tea or whatever drink I am in the mood for. Tiesto played for 4 hours. From 10 PM to 2 AM. I was ready to bounce after the 2 hour/half way point. I mean, it was a good show. Tiesto is a master of his craft. But 4 hours. Good God! We couldn't get out of the parking garage until after 3. Crystal tried to stay up with me on the way home, but she was in and out of sleep. It was cute. I didn't get home until 5 something after dropping off my lovely passangers.

Ok enough about the concert review.

Onto big Brent news.
Yours truly is moving on up to the Northwest side of the town I currently live in. 4.5 miles to be exact. The house I currently reside in is ancient. I can't cook anything in there because the house will blow up. The bathroom sucks and I hat even going in there. So I put my house on the market and have been having someone build me a brand new house.

Everything in the house will be new. New kitchen stuff, new bathroom stuff. New stuff for the living. New. Everything needs to be new. Out with the old, in with new. New.

I wish I had more say on the layout of the house and what not, but I did get some input in. Even thinking about putting a deck in my backyard and maybe getting a hot tub for those rare cold nights.

The house should be ready by June. I go by the place every few days to check on the progress. Pretty amazing how much gets done each day. Yesterday they installed the toilets, dishwasher, oven and stove. Today I think the light fixtures are going in.

My street number is so EVIL when you flip it upside down

My new house (view from across the street) Yes, the landscape is not finished. It will look prettier than that

I will take more pictures when the progress continues.

Well...right now I need to sign some papers for my house. Make it officially official.

For Reals..
